Welcome to my gallery!

I was born in Chambly, Quebec, in 1952 and I now resides in the Ottawa area, Ontario. I took my first painting class in late 70s with different known area artists and studied wildlife painting at Buckhorn School of Fine Art with Alan Sakhavarz, an internationally known wildlife artist.

From wildlife artist in early 80s to abstract watercolourist in the 90s, my transition to photography began several years ago with the venue of the digital camera. Since 2007, my abstract work has been regularly exhibited at the Arbor Gallery, The Abbey for the Arts Gallery, the ARTour of Prescott-Russell and Calligrammes Art Gallery in Ottawa. Awarded photo of the week five times and photo of the month on four occasions by the Canadian Geographic Photo Club, one of my photographs was selected for a project by JPG Magazine with Tree Hugger to showcase sustainability in their website in 2010 and another photograph was recently selected by the Toronto Zoo for a special project.

I hope you will enjoy my work and thank you for taking the time to view it.
